Vladimir,

It’s difficult to say how you can benefit from the CTM without knowing your background. I suggest that you take a look at the CTM courses and decide how helpful they might be in your professional development.

Here is the link: http://pcourses.teacherswithoutborders.org//certificate-teaching-mastery-5-courses

Also, your skills would be very helpful to us as we develop tutorials for potential e-mentors and members interested in taking the CTM. If you do have some free time and would like to volunteer, please send me an email.

Konrad Glogowski shared Education Week: Better Mentoring, Better Teachers 5 months ago.

For more than a decade, clear and consistent research has shown that the quality of teachers is the most powerful school-related determinant of student success. Capitalizing on this now-large body of evidence, many education leaders have begun to invest in new-teacher mentoring. It’s a smart bet. When mentors are well-selected, well-trained, and given the time to work intensively with new teachers, they not only help average teachers become good, but good teachers become great.

Konrad Glogowski shared America’s Real Dream Team - NYTimes.com 5 months ago.

This isn’t complicated. In today’s wired world, the most important economic competition is no longer between countries or companies. The most important economic competition is actually between you and your own imagination. Because what your kids imagine, they can now act on farther, faster, cheaper than ever before — as individuals. Today, just about everything is becoming a commodity, except imagination, except the ability to spark new ideas.

Asit Ghosh shared From academics to attitudes about 1 year ago.

The world is all about academics. This is unfortunate because even less qualified people have talents and can achieve and contribute a lot to the society. Almost every crisis in the world has in its core lack of positive attitudes as the main reason. So, the world thoughts should be changed in favour of ATTITUDES rather than academics. Indeed attitudes acn be developed because human potential is unlimited. Education is primarily about developing the potential dormant within the man.
